We are sharing this reminder now for a clear reason: applications submitted by the end of March help us plan the year’s budget and activities more effectively.
Applications may also be possible later, but early submissions make the process easier for everyone.
Several grant opportunities are currently available within the CODE-YAA Action. Honestly, this is a great moment to make our collaborations across the network more visible, more productive, and more impactful. For that reason, we would like to warmly encourage all members to apply for the grant scheme that best fits their plans and ideas.
If you have any questions about the application process—even a small one—please do not hesitate to contact the relevant Working Group (WG) leader. Our WG leaders are happy to support you in choosing the most suitable grant type, framing your proposal clearly, and aligning it with the Action’s objectives. You can also contact our Grant Awarding Coordinator if you wish: leszek.pawlowski@
Which grant types are available?
Applications are currently open for the following grant types:
-
Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) – approximately 4 grants

These grants can support a wide range of activities, including short research visits, virtual collaboration, conference participation, and dissemination activities that increase the visibility of CODE-YAA-related outcomes.
What should your application demonstrate?
Two key expectations apply to all applications:
-
Activities funded through these grants should clearly contribute to the objectives and overall impact of the Action.
