The CODE-YAA Ethics and Leadership Summer Schools in Education in Palliative Care aims to foster clinical and research ethics competencies, leadership skills, and partnerships among network members, including young palliative care researchers and clinicians from the WHO European Region.

The CODE-YAA Leadership Summer School 9.-11.6.2025 in University of Navarra Museum

Objectives:

• Develop Leadership Skills: Support mentees in developing management, communication, and leadership competencies.
• Enhance Research Integrity: Promote scientific dissemination, including manuscript completion for national and international journals.
• Build Partnerships: Strengthen relationships between mentors (FIRE and THUNDER Groups) and mentees (TORCH Group), nurturing respect, trust, and inclusivity within the network.

The CODE-YAA Ethics Summer School 11.6.-13.6.2025 in University of Navarra Museum

Objectives:

• Foster Ethics Competencies: Enhance clinical and research ethics practices through interdisciplinary education.
• Build Partnerships: Strengthen relationships between mentors (FIRE and THUNDER Groups) and mentees (TORCH Group), nurturing respect, trust, and inclusivity within the network.
• Plan Collaborative Events: Organize joint events with similar partnerships to share knowledge and best practices.
• Mentorship Visits: Allow mentors to invite multiple mentees for collaborative learning experiences.

These summer schools will foster comprehensive ethical competencies, leadership skills, and best practices in palliative care, leveraging activities from other EU-funded projects.

Who can apply?

Everyone who are interested in the subjects of the Summer Schools. If you are registered in the e-cost system you can apply for the summer school. You do not need to be a member in the CODE-Yaa project.

Costs and reimbursements: The Summer School is free of charge; the chosen participants are eligible to reimburse the travel costs and daily allowance through e-cost after the event.

You can apply for both summer schools or choose one of them.
