WG6 Communication & Dissemination Group Recharged
March 10, 2026 – Working Group 6 (WG6), dedicated to Communication and Dissemination, held a online meeting, signaling a vibrant and focused new chapter for the COST Action CA22127 (CODE-YAA@PC-EDU).
Revitalized Leadership and Vision
After a period of relative inactivity, WG6 has officially been revitalized under the new leadership. The meeting served as a turning point, transitioning the group to a proactive force within the COST Action.
A Growing and Enthusiastic Team
A highlight of the session was the participation of many new and old members from across Europe and beyond, including experts from Turkey, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Palestine, Belgium and Ukraine. The introductions revealed a high level of enthusiasm and a diverse range of expertise in palliative care, nursing, and educational technology. Participants expressed a strong willingness to collaborate and contribute to the group’s ambitious goals.
Strategic Objectives for the Future
The group discussed several key initiatives aimed at increasing the project’s impact:
- Website and Digital Growth: Significant improvements to the official website were showcased, including new tools for activity reporting and enhanced transparency regarding the project’s global reach.
- Influencer Awards: Following the success of the first cycle, the group is preparing for a new call to recognize individuals and institutions making significant contributions to palliative care awareness.
- Stakeholder Analysis Research: A core team has been established to design and conduct comprehensive research to identify and engage key stakeholders in palliative care education across all participating countries.
Looking Ahead to Malaga and Beyond
The meeting concluded with plans for a hybrid face-to-face workshop in Malaga in May 2026 and initial discussions for a major conference in 2027.
With its new leadership and a group of motivated participants, WG6 is now strongly positioned to ensure that the results of the CODE-YAA@PC-EDU project reach the right audiences and drive meaningful change in palliative care education worldwide.
