The CODE-YAA@PC-EDU project held a successful Working Meeting in Latvia on 21-22 August 2026, bringing together participants from across Europe to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and plan next steps to advance palliative care education. The project would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Latvian host team and local organisers for their commitment, planning, and hospitality, which made the meeting possible.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the progress achieved so far, including the development and translation of the Quality Indicators, scientific outputs, and dissemination activities. Discussions focused on the sustainability of project outcomes, future collaboration opportunities, development of the CODE-YAA@PC-EDU Tool and planning for the final grant period.
Interactive workshops enabled participants to identify priorities for future work, including implementation of the Quality Indicators, stakeholder engagement, dissemination strategies, future funding opportunities and strengthening international collaboration in palliative care education.
The meeting also included initial planning for the CODE-YAA@PC-EDU Final Conference 2027.
The Working Meeting provided an important opportunity for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning as CODE-YAA@PC-EDU continues its efforts to support and strengthen palliative care education across Europe.
